Much going on behind the silence....
I know that Dan's been after me to post up some more photos of progress....but "progress" in this case is just a bunch of rigorous practice sessions I've been having while listening to a varied array of late night metal. Last night was a good one....I finally got most of the surface features of my welds to disappear....something that has been haunting my sleep for weeks. Still not happy with my consistancy of heat and uniformity of bead around the joint, but really, those are just details that will surely not be perfected in time for Dan's delivery. So, I think I am going to put a stake in the ground now, and say that after 2 more practice joints, it's go time. Come what may.

This is a picture of me throwing some shit away at the dump a couple of years back. I dunno, fit my mood right then… ;) Alvarez took it. Do you think Picasso operated under "timeframes"? ;) Your masterpiece will ride the '12 cross season, that I will commit to.
